A short, sweet read and a lovely follow-up

This is the third book in the Soul Series and is a continuation of Rhys and Kai's story, not a standalone. Rhyson Gray and Kai Pearson are still dealing with some of the aftermath of the events of the first two books as Kai adjusts to her rising fame, and Rhys struggles as his need to protect Kai conflicts with what's best for their careers.

I loved Kai and Rhys in the first two books of this series so getting to see more of them was huge bonus. All the elements that I enjoyed in those first two books are here: the great characters, the storylines about trust, love, forgiveness and faith as well as the price of genius and fame, along with lots of heat and funny moments mixed in with a little angst. A short, sweet read and a lovely follow-up; I'm looking forward to the next book in the series featuring Grip and Bristol. 5 stars
