A Sapphire Affair

Wow where to start? Firstly, let me just say i have never read a book by this author before, but after ive written this im going to be getting one click happy!

A Sapphire Affair has it all, intrigue, adventure, danger, a sassy heroine and an even hotter alpha male.

Jake Harlowes job is simple, clients hire him to track down things, anything from expensive violins to millions of pounds worth of stolen money. Jakes latest job lead's him on a collision course with one Steph Anderson. Not only does she set Jakes pulse racing and make him want to pursue her, to Jake she is unlike any other woman he has met before. That is until Jake learns who she truly is. Is Jake being played? And will this woman make him sink or swim when all is said and done?

Steph Anderson loves her stepdad, adores him even. However when she learns he left her mom high and dry in their divorce, all while he is living the high life she sets about to find out just what he is up to, and if she can return what rightfully belongs to her mam. Having been burned before Steph is sworn off men until she meets Jake, the attraction is intense and one she simply cannot ignore. But when truths unfold and Steph learns who Jake is they agree to form a partnership. The only rules? No lying and absolutely nothing more then a business partnership.....but the thing about rules? Theyre meant to be broken.

This story had me hooked from page one and i finished it in one sitting. Both Steph and Jake bring something fresh to the story. Their chemistry and banter add a touch of humor and lust you just sink right in to. Throughout the book i was either laughing at their witt, on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next, or i was feeling hot under the collar from the steamy scenes. My only gripe? The cliffhanger!!! Im just thankful i dont have to wait too long for book two im dying to read more!
