When the M.A.V and the QB get together it's explosive, for some reason all the sports romance books I have read recently have been second chance at love stories and Celia Aarons Kicked is no different. That is to say the second chance at love is at the heart of the plot, but the way she tells her story is so different to the others. With sassy heroines, Alpha football players and a story line that had me hooked from the very first chapter I loved Kicked.

Cordy is the M.A.V well that's what she calls herself anyway the Mascot with A Vagina (the w doesn't count), when her university looses a discrimination in sports spending case bought against them by several female athletes they decide to recruit a token female player to join the University Football team. The only problem it puts her in to close proximity to Trent the QB who broke her heart 2 years previously.

Trent is the QB of his university football team, he's smart wealthy athletic to anyone on the outside he has the perfect life, but for this QB he's missing one important thing Cordy! 2 years ago he knew she was the one! However he broke her heart bowing down to family pressure to end their relationship. Now with the chance to win her back, he can put his stalker like ways at least when it comes to Cordy to bed, and make her his girl for good.

Kicked was a 5star read for me, it ticked all the boxes and I couldn't get enough. I loved the writing with funny one liners and sexy moments this book had it all.
